Douglas Orebaugh starts his fourth year at Kell as Defensive Coordinator. He has 37 years of teaching and coaching experience. His career has spanned many different states and positions. Coach Orebaugh graduated from Texas A&M Stephenville with his Bachelor’s Degree then went on to get his Masters from Eastern New Mexico University and his Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University.  

Coach Orebaugh played football and boxed at the high school level and played college football after returning from a tour of Vietnam as a United States Marine. He has held many positions throughout his coaching career from high schools across Texas and Georgia to colleges in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma.  

Coach Orebaugh has received many awards including Defensive Coordinator of the Year in Cobb County 2006 and 2009. He values the relationships he has formed with his past and present players as well as their accomplishments.  

Coach Orebaugh is married to Jhonna and they have two children, Stephen, and his wife Cydni, and Lauren
