Junior Longhorns
Our Mission:
To Build Men of Character that are Respectable Responsible Student Athletes with renewed self-esteem and confidence by setting high expectations while providing skills necessary for present and future success in their lives whether it be on or off the field.
Kell Junior Football players will be held to a high standard of sportsmanship, academic excellence, dedication, and character. They will maintain school spirit at all athletic events and represent the Kell Junior Football Program in a positive manner.
Athletes will promote good sportsmanship and cooperation among all teammates, opponents, and opposing fans. They will set a good example through their conduct and leadership, and represent Kell by being a role model on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.
SPRING FOOTBALL REGISTRATION
Cost: $40
EQ you must provide: cleats, mouthguard, girdle.
EQ provided: helmet, shoulder pads, pants, jersey
All rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders are eligible to play.

Equipment Pick-Up: 4/19 9-11 AM
Practices:
4/21-4/24 (off Friday)
4/28-5/1 (off Friday)
Scrimmage:
5/2--Opponent TBD or Copper/White Game @Kell (evening)
Kell Junior Fall Football Registration 2025
This online registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation and make payment for the 2025 Junior Fall Season.
Cost: $400
EQ you must provide: cleats, mouthguard, girdle.
EQ provided: helmet, shoulder pads, pants, jersey
All Kell HS ZONED 6th, 7th and 8th graders are eligible to play-this is based off your home address.
Proof of Residency and Birth Certificate must be submitted to GMSAA and are confirmed--information on this process will follow registration completion.
Dates:
Equipment Pick-Up: 7/26 and 7/27...Times will be sent out/posted
Practice: 7/28/25 - every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8:30 PM in the Stockyard Stadium
MANDATORY Parent Meeting: 8/13/25 6:30 PM in Kell Cafeteria
Games: Saturdays through November. Schedule will be shared when received from GMSAA.
