Joe Tousignaut Linebackers Coach / Defensive Coordinator
Coach Tousignaut enters his fourth year as defensive coordinator for the Longhorns. He considers himself honored to work with great players and an outstanding staff. Since becoming D coordinator Kell has a record of 25-2 regular season, 2-1 in region championship games, and 6-3 in the playoffs.
The defense has been recognized with many all state performers (five of which have been Linebackers).
Coach T was a Special Teams Coordinator at River Ridge (2011 and 12) and was a Kell defensive assistant from 2007-10. Before moving to Georgia, Tousignaut was a Coordinator at Battle Creek Saint Phillip (MI), Secondary Coach at Olivet College (MI), and Defensive Coordinator at Saint Joseph’s College (IN).
He was a two sport letter winner at Albion College (MI) in football and Track, and a three sport letter winner at Belding High School (MI). He has his Master’s Degree in Education from University of Phoenix.
Joe teaches English at Kell and lives in Canton, GA with his wife, Jeannette, and their two children, Annabell (11) and Brendan (9).
